For this class, I completed three assignments. The first one was a paper on commitment. The second assignment, a paper about divorce and love. And lastly, a reflection writing.
Reflections
My performance on the two
assignments I posted was extremely good. My performance really demonstrates
progress toward SLCC college-wide learning objectives. I am applying myself to
my studies and in result, getting good grades. These assignments connect with
what I learned in other General Education courses because you have to really
think deeply about them. Along with giving my own opinion, I interviewed
individuals to also find out their opinion. It took a lot of time and effort.
These assignments
really had an impact on me. The topic of divorce that I interviewed my cousin
about was really an eye opening subject for me. When he was explaining his
divorce, to me, I really felt for him. It helped me understand that any kind of
separation people go though is hard and stressful. It challenged my previous
assumptions because I thought that for some people divorcing wasn’t that bad.
In reality, divorce is something that is life altering.
I
picked these two particular assignments to put in my ePortfolio because I felt
like they really were strong and full of many explanations. It demonstrates
that I learned a lot throughout this course. The assignments also illustrate
growth throughout this course. My assignments gradually became better and
better throughout this semester.
